Hump Day Humor...

A Woman's Poem

He didn't like the casserole
And he didn't like my cake.
He said my biscuits were too hard...
Not like his mother used to make.

I didn't perk the coffee right
He didn't like the stew,
I didn't mend his socks
The way his mother used to do.

I pondered for an answer, I was looking for a clue.
Then I turned around and smacked the shit out of him...
Like his mother used to do.

Fortunately for my husband, he never complains about my cooking or my ironing or my driving!! LOL

Have a great day!
Peace and Love,
Alannah

LOL great poem. It should go in a greeting card, maybe for a husband's first anniversary. My hubby says I'm a MUCH better cook than his mother, he's a very smart man. But he's also a "professor" archetype, and frequently gives me pointers on my driving. I've yet to leave him standing on the side of the road, but I've come close a few times!!!!!

Glad you enjoyed it. Hubby and I hadn't been together for very long at all - in fact, we weren't married yet - and he started saying to me, "If it was me I would...." I was washing dishes and I can't remember what the issue was but I put the stuff in the sink, turned around and said, "OK, then you do it."

Taught him quick!!!
