What I'm Reading...

Hey everyone! Well...I got nothin'! LOL

I'm taking two online workshops and have been busy running hubby back and forth to work and kidlet to baseball practice and games and I just haven't had a chance to settle in with a good book.

What about you guys? What are you reading right now?

I hope everyone has a fantastic and safe Memorial Day Weekend!!

Peace and love,
Alannah

I'm reading STRIPPED by Julie Leto. It's fun, which is no surprise. LOL

Ya know? I sort of miss the days of running the Only to tournaments and games (and then track meets after she had to give up fastpitch and shift to track). I'm watching the college regionals leading up to Women's College World Series next weekend. We had season tickets for years. Now we stay home and watch it on TV with the AC going!

Enjoy the long weekend, everyone!

I'm reading Be Still My Vampire Heart by Kerrelyn Sparks. I'm in Chicago for the weekend with my oldest niece. She graduated from high school on Wednesday and we are here for the weekend to celebrate. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend.

I do enjoy his baseball games, his school games more than what he's playing now (through parks and recs). Some of the parents are just so serious they take all the fun out of it. Last night they were yelling at the umps and calling them a piece of dirt. I just don't get that so I usually sit in my little folding chair down along the fence by the dugouts by myself.

The city high school team won their tournament game last night - they were playing on the field next to us and that was pretty exciting. They've won the state championship the last 3 or 4 years and it's looking good so far this year.

My biggest issue is trying to be 2 places at one time. Last night I had to pack a cooler with sandwich meats, then pack a change of clothes for hubby, take him his clothes, wait while he changed then take kidlet to the ball field - he had to be there an hour early. So hubby and I ate a picnic dinner whle they were practicing before his game.

BUT...hubby has an appt with his doctor next week and *fingers crossed* he'll be able to drive after that appt. Valentine's Day marked 1 year since he's been able to drive. That's definitely cutting in to my reading time! LOL

Liza - congrats to your niece on her graduation!! I hope you have a great visit with your family and a wonderful weekend.

Oh, I forgot to mention the books. Duh!

I loved Stripped!! It was a great book!

I'm adding Kerrelyn Sparks to my "checkout" list. I'm enjoying vamp stories more and more these days and will have to see if I can find her.

Have a great weekend!!
