Purple Prose - Building Style

OK...confession time. Stress has killed my creativity. I've been thinking about this for days (6 to be exact) and I just can't come up with anything purple. Luanna helped me put together a list of words that "have to work." I just can't seem to make them work.

Please show me what you guys can do with this list. I KNOW you guys can come up with some amazing stories and I can't wait to read them. Hubby has two doctors appointments at Duke today so I won't be back to my computer until this evening. I'm counting on you guys to have some great stories to put a huge smile on my face and make me laugh.

Name suggestions:
Brick Mortar
Mason
Cindy Block (she sounds like a dominatrix to me)

Words we came up with:
Pound(ing)
Hammer(ed)
Nail(ed)
Screw
Screwdriver
Bang
Drive
Rivet
Whack
Stroke

I can't wait to see what you come up with. Have fun, everyone!!
Peace and Love,
Alannah

First? C'mon, ladies. I've been waiting for this one all week. *bwahaha*

Steele girded his loins in tight, jeans, clad his feet in leather boots of the working varity, but left his chest, as broad as a brick wall and twice as hard, bare. He'd paid for his twelve pack and wanted to share. He sauntered out to the work site, slipped on his tool belt. With long, masculine fingers he stroked his Snap-On Tools(tm). He checked his ratchet, ideal for high torque, limited access applications. Its flex head offered a variety of ratcheting positions and the long handle provided additional leverage. His srewdriver felt brand new - a Torx Instinct Hard Handle, 8 7/8 inches designed for internal turning and featured power with comfort yet control with power. He would never compromise his tool. Durability was his middle name.

And with that, I must pause. Back later in the day to add more...

Hey, I'm back!!! Great, great news. The doctor said they can see evidence of the tumor's regression!! I snoopy danced all the way back from Durham.

OK, Penny...I bow down to you! I don't know how you come up with this stuff but I love it! I'm on my way to school to pick up kidlet from baseball practice and I'm going to see what I can come up with.

Where is everyone else?!?

OK, I didn't have to wait long at school. Here's the pathetic attempt I have so far.

Cindy Block tugged the plunging neckline of her itty-bitty tank top lower and thrust her pillars of attraction high into the air. Some said she was built like a brick shithouse. She'd never quite understood the compliment, but she wasn't above using the twins to her advantage.

Every day she walked past the construction site and drooled over the foreman, Steele. Every woman loved a man in a toolbelt. But it was the tool under the belt that she was after. And today, she'd have him.

*WOOTS* *HUGS* *SNOOPY DANCES* !!!! Wonderful news, Alannah! Dang, girl! Awesome blossom on regression!

No clue where the others are. I do have a confession. I went to the Snap On Tool site. It's just...a cornucopia of tool goodness. Srsly.

Steele watched Cindy, his hard hat dipped rakishly over one eye. She's one hellava tool storage bay, he mused. He was going to jackhammer her one of these days real soon. With both hands griping his blue-point hand tool, he smiled at her. "You come to charge up my batteries, sweet cheeks?" His voice purred like a diesel engine on a hot day.

Tag. Somebody's *it*.

Cindy batted her eyes at the hunkly Steele, riveting her gaze to his stronger-than-nails body. "I'm afraid I'm too high voltage for you."

Inwardly her heart pistoned in her chest, demanding she withdraw that statement. Her pulse hammered wildly, keeping tempo with her ragged breathing and the gushing liquid fueling her desire.

Only Steele could rev her generators and get her insides oiled up faster than a jackhammer. Heat flooded her as she realized if she didn't have him this instant her sockets would combust.

Steele stepped closer and Cindy thought she would implode. She hadn't been laid in over a week and her ex, Brick Mortar, had left the job unfinished. She traced her finger along the hard plane of his stomach, looked down and purred, "Is that a screwdriver in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"

Yay!!!! Cara and Janet, awesome!!

I've gotta figure out how to get the cute emoticons on the this blog! Put that on my ever-growing to-do list.

Picture *clapping hands* and *jumping on couch*

Thanks for playing you guys!!
