Food For Thought...

"I will waste not even a precious second today in anger or hate or jealousy or selfishness. I know that the seeds I sow I will harvest, because every action, good or bad, is always followed by an equal reaction. I will plant only good seeds this day."

Og Mandino
1923-1996, Author and Speaker

Wow, what a tall order. To not even waste a second in anger or hate or jealousy or selfishness?

*cracks knuckles and takes a deep breath*

OK, I'll try if you will!

Have a fantastic day!
Peace and Love,
Alannah

Can't promise on the anger because it's too early yet and I haven't had to deal with stupid people. For the rest? Today is too "good" to waste. Jen Lyon's book comes out and a very dear friend is celebrating a birthday. Have a great day, Alannah. I'm back to another round of edits, but getting closer to getting my own release date!

Do you have the release date yet?

As for this great quote...I've already blown it today. But I can start again right now. Right? LOL

Good luck with those revisions!!

No. *whine* I'm struggling my way through POVs at the moment. My editor is pleased at the way things are going and I have hopes this will do it for the major stuff. (At first glance, there were few changes other than straightening out POV in scenes.) Then she formats it, sends it to reader/copy editor, then it goes to galleys and at that point, gets put on the release calendar. I hope. Waiting sucks.

Where are you in the process? Do you have a second one in the works?

My second one is with an editor who is going to give me a critique (it's one I won in a benefit auction). It's my "dream editor" - the one I set a goal to write for 3 years ago - so my fingers are crossed that she sees potential.

The bartender story is coming along, slowly but surely. I've written this one with my Samhain editor in mind, so hopefully she'll like it.

Lu and I are doing "revision hell" together so I hope to have it finished in 10 days. Sheesh...guess I better get busy! LOL

Sorry you're having to wait on the release date. Samhain was able to give me a release date as soon as they received the first round of edits (I believe). I was very fortunate in that I had a date early on and could start planning my guest blogs, etc. Hope it all comes together soon for you!!

OK...off to work!
