I can't begin to tell you how glad I am I picked up this book. It's good, but it's nothing like the BDB books. Her voice is soooo different, and it all gives me hope. Maybe I really can get better over time! LOl

Hey Alannah and Silver. I loved The Unforgettable Lady. You should definitely read An Irresistable Bachelor too. I love the Bird books, albeit not as much as the BDB ones, but her voice is still there. The WARDen still writes a wonderful tale. I mean, you can even see the beginnings of the Brothers description in some of the heroes she writes as Bird. I just got some more of her backlist books, and I can't wait to get into those too. Enjoy "Lady" Alannah. Her Bird books seem more heroinecentric, unlike the BDB.

I'm in the same boat, Silver. I have so many and I just can't read them all and keep writing too.
Paula - She even mentions at the beginning of this book (the re-released version) that as she re-read this ms she could see the beginnings of the Brothers. She said Smith and Grace reminded her a little of Butch and Marissa. And I can definitely see that too.
I'm almost finished. But I'm not buying any more books right now. LOL
