Happy St. Patrick's Hump Day!!

Two women were sitting next to each other at a bar. After a while one looks at the other and says, 'I can't help but think, from listening to you, that you're from Ireland .

The other woman responds proudly, 'Yes, I sure am!'

The first one says, 'So am I! And where about in Ireland are ya from ?

The other woman answers, 'I'm from St. John's , I am.'

The first one responds, 'So, am I!! And what street did you live on?'

The other woman says, 'A lovely little area it was in the west end. I lived on Warbury Street in the old central part of town.'

The first one says, 'Faith and it's a small world. So did I! So did I! And what school did ya go to?'

The other woman answers, 'Well now, I went to Holy Heart of Mary, of course.'

The first one gets really excited and says, 'And so did I. Tell me,what year did you graduate?'

The other woman answers, 'Well, now, let's see. I graduated in 1964.'

The first woman exclaims, 'The Good Lord must be smiling down upon us ! I can hardly believe our good luck at winding up in the same pub tonight. Can you believe it, I graduated from Holy Heart of Mary in 1964 me self.'

About this time, Michael walks into the bar, sits down and orders a beer.

Brian, the bartender, walks over to Michael, shaking his head and mutters, 'It's going to be a long night tonight.'

Michael asks, 'Why do you say that, Brian ?'

Brian answers, 'The Murphy twins are drunk again.'

LOL...A little lame but I was short on time to come up with anything better.

Happy Hump Day!

OK....Do you want to know how tired I was when I posted this last night?

I didn't even think about it being a joke about Ireland until this morning when I told my son "Happy St. Patrick's Day" while reading it through again!!

God, I think I need a long weekend getaway somewhere!! LOL

Hey Alannah, Happy St. Paddy's Day to you too! I thought it was funny, not lame at all. I didn't think they were twins. I actually thought they were having this conversation in Heaven. Yeh, I know...

Peace and love,
Paula R.

Okay. Time for "Paddy" jokes. I have a whole slew of them passed along by my favorite Irishman.

Paddy is said to be shocked at finding out all his cows have Bluetongue. "Be Jeysus!" he said, "I didn't even know they had mobile phones!"

Paddy, the Irish boyfriend of the woman whose head was found on Arbroath beach was asked to identify her. A detective held up the head at which point Paddy said, "I don't think that's her, she wasn't that tall!"

Paddy takes his new wife to bed on their wedding night. She undresses, lies on the bed spread-eagled and says
"You know what I want, don't you?"

"Yeah," says Paddy. "The whole feckin' bed by the looks of it!"

I'll stop now. Happy St. Paddy's Day!

I thought it was funny, not lame. BTW, I thought there was a conversation going on in a mirror.

Love your jokes too Silver.
