Hump Day Humor

Hung Chow calls into work and says, "Hey, I no come work today, I really sick. Got headache, stomach ache and legs hurt, I no come work."

The boss John says, "You know something, Hung Chow, I really need you today. When I feel sick like you do, I go to my wife and tell her to give me sex. That makes everything better and I go to work. You try that."

Two hours later Hung Chow calls again. "I do what you say and I feel Great. I be at work soon..........You got nice house."

BIAW Report: Yesterday I managed 7,029 words!! Woo-hooo!!! My shoulders, back and wrists aren't happy, but I'm as happy as a pig in a puddle over the production.

Silver? Lu? Did you manage to pull yourselves away from the guys long enough to get any writing done?

And a big thank you to our wonderful cheerleader, Paula!! *V* Just writing a little every day is better than nothing so do what you can, Paula, and be proud that you've gotten something on the page. And thanks for the encouragement and support! Hugs!

I hope today is a fabulous hump day for everyone!!
Peace and love,
Alannah

I must say that stripper music is a great "pick me up", even without the pictures LOL.

I wrote approx 1K yesterday. As I told Mo, it was my special day so I had a birthday nap. Today I'll be back on my new schedule. I don't think I can compete with your awesomeness, Alannah, but I'll give it a try!

Have a fabulous day, everyone!

*smacks Lu upside the head* Of course you can do it! If I can, anyone can.

Today is going to be a struggle but I think I'm going to try something new. Oh, crud...shit. OK, well, I was going to try working with the voice recognition software in Vista. I've used it before but haven't for a long time so I was going to try it again.

But, I'm having computer problems and told hubby I'd take the laptop to The Geek Squad at Best Buy and see if they can save it before it dies completely. Which means I'll be back to typing on thhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ROTFL...I couldn't not post that and let you guys see ONE of the issues that I'm having with my computer.

Take a minute to collect yourself, Lu. Glad I could make you laugh today.

Anyway, I'll be working on the dinosaur (which at this point might be okay..lol).

Given the challenges facing me today - hubby's off, trip to river, Son #2's cross country meet tonight, Son #1 coming for dinner and staying all night. I guess I better get to work while I can.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Since I'm a reader only, I would like to join Paula in cheering everyone on to reach their daily goals. Go Alannah, Lu, and Silver(you too Paula if you are working on a WIP)!

I"m sorry, but I'm still laughing!

ROFLMAO. My keyboard has done that!

Words? What words? I don't see any words... *sigh*

I managed...maybe a hundred? Today's been a little better. I've done almost 300 and really need to get back to it. I was gone all morning (Dr. appt. for The Only) and now I'm piddling with the net. Tomorrow. There's always tomorrow.

Hey Alannah, thanks for the support too. You go girl...7K, what a feat. Sorry you have to go back to the dinosaur age though. I have had trouble like that with my comp as well...I must say though, that I had to laugh when I saw what you typed.

I wish I could be as dedicated as you are right now. Maybe one goal for me would be to write as much as I can on the weekends when I am not on duty. I currently have a WiP that is a little over 1600 pages. So, I am getting there. I can't wait for the days, when I could just sit and write. I hope Son #2 kicked butt in his meet, that you had a great time visiting with Son #1, and that you were able to take a breather for yourself. You guys are my inspiration; you give me something to strive for. Thanks for the support Liza. BTW, there is no such thing as just a reader. I discovered that from my author friends. We are valuable cogs in the cycle of publication machine too.

Have a wonderful day everybody.

Peace and love,
Paula R.
