Hi everyone!! Wow, long time no see! I missed you all so much!
For a while, I’ve been thinking about knocking the dust off the old blog and getting it re-fired. What better way to do that than with a party?!
I’ve always enjoyed giving more than receiving, so today... even though it’s my birthday... you get all the gifts!!!
I’ll be giving away a gift certificate, as well as copies of REACTION TIME, the newly released SAVIN’ ME, and the upcoming LAST CALL. On top of that, a few special friends have pitched in and will be donating their books and author SWAG, too.
A huge thank you to Kallypso Masters, Sandra Sookoo, Janelle Denison, and Chris Almeida & Cecelia Aubrey for making my day and party so special.
But enough yapping....Let’s party!!!!
For the first contest of the day I am going to offer a $25 Gift Card to either Amazon or B&N, winners choice. All you have to do is comment below telling me your favorite or most memorable birthday gift that you have recieved and fill out the form. Thanks for coming to the party!!!

Happy Birthday Alannah!
My favorite birthday gift was when I told my son I wanted a Ferrari and he got me a "hot wheels" one. LOL.
Happy Birthday! I've got a virgin margarita here for you, to fit in with your little birthday graphic there.
Happy birthday Alannah! My fave birthday present was my promise ring from Dale a few years ago <3
Yay!! Let's party!!
Thank you, Leagh! For the birthday wishes and for all your hard work on putting this party together. It literally wouldn't be happening without you!!
Becki - that is awesome!! Do you still have it?
Liz - hehe...I'm glad it's virgin. One real one and I'd be passed out on the couch, missing my own party!
Yay - Amanda made it!! I can see why that would be your favorite. <3
Happy birthday again :)
Yes, I still have the Ferrari...it's 25 years old so it's a vintage model now lol.
I forgot to post my favorite birthday gift! D'oh! I have to say that it was my first born. She was actually born one month before my birthday, but I still count it. And she's the gift that keeps on giving too because she's now old enough to buy me gifts! LOL!
Happy birthday Alannah! My favorite birthday gift was from my wife and it was two tickets to see Jimmy Buffett in concert! My present to you? A couple of sexy firefighters you might enjoy. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/53/Fire_fighters_practice_with_spraying_equipment%2C_March_1981.jpg
Happy Birthday!
I got a surprise trip to Vermont for my 22nd birthday.

Happy birthday... and how awsome is it that you get to give gifts away...... hope you get something GREAT in return... :)
Happy Birthday!! :)
Becki- Too funny! Yes, it is vintage. I wonder if you could find a "vintage" license plate for it. LOL
Liz - that's sweet!
Whoa, David! That's awesome! Your gift, I mean. I couldn't get the firefighters to load, but I appreciate the thought. I have a special place in my heart for firefighers, so they're the perfect gift!! Thank you!
Happy Birthday Alannah! My favorite birthday gift was for my fourteenth birthday my parents got me my beloved if sometimes difficult horse, Kristy.
Mami - Wow, that would've been awesome! I've never been to the NE, but I hear it's beautiful, and I'd love to go sometime. In the summer! LOL
Thanks for dropping by and helping me celebrate!!!
Alaine - Holy cow!! Were expecting that? Did you plan the wedding around your birthday, or were in Vegas? :-D What an awesome gift!
Brandy - thank you! My gift is getting to spend the day with all of you. Seriously! The absolute best part of my job is all of the new friends I get to make because of it. I can't think of anything I'd rather do today than give away gifts!!
Thank you for being here to celebrate with me!
Hi Serenity - thank you!! My cousin named her little girl Serenity, and I just love that name!
Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday!
Angelia - that's awesome!! Had you been riding before Kristi, or was that when your horseriding began?
Happy birthday!! My favorite gift was my Nook Color from my husband. Hope your birthday is awesome!!

My most memorable, note it was NOT my favorite, was the house fire on my birthday. The damage was mostly confined to the exterior. (No, it was NOT the candles on my cake that started it.) We ended up in a hotel for a month while the house was fixed. Yeah, that's not one you live down.
A golden heart-shaped medallion, attached to a black teddy bear, from my boyfriend, on my birthday. <3
My favorite birthday gift was my mother got the news she was cancer free. This also cam e at the same time my boyfriend asked me to marry him...It was a very emotional day.
Happy Birthday!!! One of my favorite birthday gifts was my girls only weekend this year (my BFFs and I all turned 30). We rarely get to see each other anymore. It was awesome just spending some downtime with them—NO KIDS—for a relaxing few days at the beach! :-)
Oh no, Riane!! Having lived through a fire myself, I can sympathize completely! I'm glad it was mostly exterior - but I'm sure it was still a mess. And living in a hotel for a month? Depending on how old you were, and if they had a pool, it might've been okay for a week. Not a month, I'm sure.
aaadela - That sounds precious! Sweet boyfriend!
Marie - Wow!! I guess it was an emotional day. What fantastic news for your mom!! I don't know how long that's been, but congrats on both!
Cassie - that sounds fantastic! I've never done a girls only trip - but it sounds heavenly! :-D
Eek - Susan, I almost missed you! My husband stood in line at Best Buy on Christmas Eve 3 years ago to buy me the new Sony Touch ereader. I love that reader, but the fact that he was willing to stand in line that long was what made the gift so special! LOL
Hopefully you'll win a cool prize today to add to your Nook!
Thanks for the birthday wishes and for visiting with me!!
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday!! My favorites were the girls' nights out where we celebrated my bday and my roomie's. Our birthdays are only 9 days apart.
Happy birthday. Let's see, one of my favorite birthdays was two years ago when my Mom gave us tickets to see Celtic Women in concert.
Happy birthday! My favorite and most memorable birthday gift was actually something really simple, but something I love. My dad bought me when I was 16 one of those electronic picture frames where you could upload pictures, and he uploaded some that he liked and gave it to me.
LASIK from my mom for my 19th birthday.
Happy birthday, girl! What a fun idea with all these giveaways. I can tell my book budget is going to suffer this month! ;)
FYI? It's about time you're blogging again! Just sayin'!!!
Since my birthday falls on Valentine's Day, it normally kinda sucks. I had trouble getting pregnant but my oldest child was conceived on my 30th birthday and born on my husband's 30th birthday. so as far as gifts go that is probably the best.
I guess my favorite birthday gift was probably when I was a kid and my parents managed to get me the Care Bear that I wanted so much. This was when they first came out, and since my birthday is right before Christmas (20th) it must have been very hard.
Hope you have had a great birthday!
June
Would you believe me if I told you my really neato backpack by swiss? It's just one more stepping stone to my degree, and it means a lot to me that my family thought about something like that, that I needed that would make my life easier, and I didn't have to ask.LOL I should mention my birthday was 10 days before school started this semester.
I just wanted to drop by and say Hi to everyone and let you know I'll be back first thing in the morning to comment on each individual comment. It's 11:30 my time, and I just can't keep going anymore tonight. :-D
Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday!!
My favorite bday gift was actually a very special poem written by my son.It actually brought tears to my eyes.
Gabrielle - that's so sweet!! On Mother's Day this past year, my son wrote a note on the back of a paper plate, telling me how much he loved me and apologizing for being so difficult over the years. He told me to bring him the plate whenever I wanted and that he'd fix me breakfast on it.
Big massive tears was the reply he got! :-D We moms can be so silly when it comes to our boys (at least I'm sure that's their perception).
