Okay, more specifically, what I'm trying to work up the courage to read. Fellow Plotmonkey jungle buddies have already heard about the new Leslie Parrish books. But I wanted to post Leslie's new website here for anyone who might have missed it.

I have a few friends who I think will really enjoy the Leslie Parrish books, so I wanted to introduce them to her now.

I can't wait to give Leslie's new series a try. The darkness kind of reminds me of The Bullet Catcher series or The Bodyguards series. Both I could read and still sleep at night. I'm a pretty big wuss...I don't even watch scary movies.
I love the Bullet Catcher series. Who writes the Bodyguard series? Oh, is that Stephanie Bond? If so, I haven't read any of her books.
I'll tell ya what...you read Leslie's new series first and if you can handle then I'll trust you and wade into the water behind you!
Cindy Gerard writes the Bodyguard series and they are wonderful.
I'll be happy to read Leslie's books and let you know if they are too scary.
